Each year since 2015, with the exception of the COVID-19 pandemic, the Senate Republican Caucus has sponsored the Memorial Day Wall of Remembrance Display in the Illinois State Capitol in Springfield.
Filled with photos and remembrances that constantly cycle on a large screen, the display forms a powerful and unforgettable testament, reminding all who pass through the Illinois State Capitol that these are men and women who made the ultimate sacrifice for our state and country.
Located in the South Hall on the first floor of the Illinois State Capitol, this year’s Memorial Day Wall of Remembrance Display will be open to the public from May 25 to June 9. Viewing hours for the public are Monday through Friday, from 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m., and Saturday through Sunday, from 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.
