Syverson, Keicher to host SOS Mobile Unit June 27 in Hampshire

SPRINGFIELD – State Sen. Dave Syverson (R-Cherry Valley) and State Rep. Jeff Keicher (R-Sycamore) will be hosting a Secretary of State Mobile Unit June 27 in Hampshire.

The Mobile Driver Services Unit will be set up at Sen. Syverson’s and Rep. Keicher’s District Office, 115 W. Oak Knoll Dr. (Illinois Route 72), from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. on June 27.

Registration is mandatory, and limited spots are available. Register now by sending an email to Lori Yates at lyates@sgop.ilga.gov or calling 217-782-2181.

Residents will be able to renew their driver’s licenses, purchase license plate stickers, sign up for the Secretary of State’s Organ/Tissue Donor Registry, obtain a Real ID (visit https://realid.ilsos.gov/ for list of required documents) and much more – without having to travel out of town to the nearest DMV facility. Illinoisans who are ages 78 and older must visit a Secretary of State Driver Services facility to renew their driver’s licenses.

Proper identification will be required for all services. All payments must be made by check, credit card, debit card or money order. No cash will be accepted.
