Syverson Brings State Services Directly to Local Communities

This July, Senator Dave Syverson’s staff hosted traveling office hours across the 35th District to bring constituent services directly to local communities. Stops included Big Rock, Hinckley, Huntley, and Maple Park.

“Traveling office hours are one of the best ways we can stay connected with the people we serve,” said Senator Syverson. “By bringing state services directly into local communities, we’re able to listen to residents’ concerns firsthand and help them cut through red tape to get the assistance they need

During the visits, staff assisted residents with a variety of concerns, from property tax relief and pension issues to navigating state agencies for important licensures like FOID cards.

We appreciate everyone who came out to share their concerns or seek assistance. If you are a resident of the 35th District and need help with a state-related issue, please visit our website, stop by one of our district offices, or call us at (815) 987-7555.
