State Sen. Dave Syverson (R-Cherry Valley) is hosting a Free Community Shred Event with State Rep. Jeff Keicher (R-Sycamore) on April 23 at their District Office Parking Lot, 115 W. Oak Knoll Drive, Route 72, in Hampshire.
Area residents wanting to clean out file cabinets and help the environment are welcome to bring their outdated documents and papers to this event for safe and confidential shredding.
Scheduled from 9:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. on April 23, the Free Community Shred Event is open to the public. Please note that this event is for document shredding only (limit three boxes per resident). No electronics will be accepted.
