HAMPSHIRE, Ill. – State Sen. Dave Syverson (R-Cherry Valley) and State Rep. Jeff Keicher (R-Sycamore) are hosting a Community Blood Drive in partnership with the Versiti Blood Center of Illinois on March 6, from 1:00 p.m. to 5:30 p.m. at the Syverson/Keicher Hampshire District Office, 115 W. Oak Knoll Drive (Illinois Route 72).

Blood donors will receive a coupon for a buy-one, get-one entrée from Noodles & Company, while supplies last. Appointments are preferred, but walk-ins are welcome. To make an appointment, contact Jesse at keicher@ilhousegop.org with desired time, or call 800-786-4483, or visit www.versiti.org/IL.

Area residents interested in giving blood at the Community Blood Drive on March 6 are encouraged to make an appointment soon, as space is limited. Time slots for appointments will be filled on a first-come, first-served basis.

According to Versiti, every blood donation impacts and saves up to three lives. Photo ID is required to donate. Blood donors are encouraged to eat a healthy meal and drink plenty of water before donating.
