PINGREE GROVE – Area residents wanting to clean out file cabinets and help the environment are welcome to bring their documents and papers for safe and confidential shredding at a free Community Shred Event Sept. 21 at 1865 Andrew Blvd. in Pingree Grove.

Hosted by State Sen. Dave Syverson (R-Cherry Valley), State Rep. Jeff Keicher (R-Sycamore) and State Sen. Don DeWitte (R-St. Charles), the free Community Shred Event is open to the public from 9:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. Sept. 21.

Please note that this event is for document shredding only (limit three boxes per resident). No electronics will be accepted.
