State Senator Dave Syverson (R-Cherry Valley) joined families and community members for a fun-filled afternoon at Marengo Park District’s annual Day in the Park celebration.

“Events like this are a great reminder of what makes our communities so special,” said Sen. Syverson. “We had a blast with the kids and appreciated the chance to help people with their questions. We’re already looking forward to next year.”

Sen. Syverson and his team hosted a booth at the event, where they handed out materials, answered constituent questions, and helped kids build their own mini airplanes. The event provided a great opportunity for families to enjoy summer activities, explore local resources, and spend time together.
