State Senator Dave Syverson (R-Cherry Valley) hosted multiple events this week across the 35th Senate District to engage directly with constituents and local leaders.

“These events give us the chance to connect face-to-face, listen to concerns, and work together to find solutions,” said Sen. Syverson. “Whether it’s the state budget or local business challenges, hearing directly from the people we serve is what drives good policy.”

During the events, attendees had the opportunity to discuss a wide range of topics, including the state budget, the impact of gerrymandering on Illinois’ legislative maps, and ways to strengthen small businesses in the region.

The week included traveling office hours in Huntley and Maple Park, co-hosted with State Representative Jeff Keicher (R-Sycamore). The pair also joined the Sycamore Chamber of Commerce for a Coffee and Conversation event to hear directly from local business owners.
